gingerbread house

This year for a change the whole family had a hand in making this gingerbread house. I purchased the cutters for the house on sale last year so we used them and after a few little mishaps this is what we ended up with! hope you like it!!!!

It has been so long since I last blogged life is so busy! As usual this year at the school fair I took photos of all the children with Santa and mounted them on card all 51 of them glad to have them finished only one more year as my little girl moves to big school how quick time goes.. working on my christmas journal will post some pics later x

actually finished layout!!!

love this layout of Bethany and her paper lantern. The paper is not new trying to use what I have in my stash as I have way to much!!!! This is my first time using kraft cardstock but love how it turned out. Well of to tackle some more of my paper mountain let me know what you think girls x

my craftroom

Took this short video on my nikon coolpix camera not sure what way it would turn out first time doing it!! Let me know what you think girls!! My dear husband has put all the expedit storage items up he did a good job!! My dear friend Sam has helped me organise all my scrapbooking papers I have way to many!! :)

7 gyspies alterted tray

I altered this tray for my niece Katrina to give to a friend for her birthday.Love how it turned out!!! It took a lot of hours and I am sorry to have to part with it.I used a mixture of papers and some items that have been in a box in a drawer just crying out to be used!!! Think all of us have drawers with things we don't use at least I have. Well girls of to bed my brain needs a rest after thinking for way to many hours to day!!! Let me know what you think girls x

felt flowers

Got these yesterday in the post from Samuel Taylor's. The big flowers are 85p each and for two of the small flowers they are 85p what a bargain and arrived the next day in the post such quick service.

They come in all different colours check them out well worth a visit and postage is only £1.95 or if you spend £40 it is free.

craftroom update!!

Have at last got some pics of my new table and my fab red sofa my hubby bought me. Love my room just not enough hours in the day to sit in it!!! My dressform has got some ribbons on it not all of them but there are lots so will be a while!!! Well girls till next time let me know what you think xo

my newest craft room addition!!

my dear hubby came home with this the other day found it in a skip what a find!! It was brown and a bit rusted but with a bit of time and effort from my other half it soon scrubbed up well. I have a smaller one in my craft room for ribbons not sure what to do with this one!! Tk Max have these at £65.00 but all mine cost was the price of a can of spray paint!!Let me know what you think girls x

Making Rosettes

Went to the show at the Kings Hall in Belfast and had a great day with my two favourite girls Sam and Kate. I found it hard to buy things as lets face it my craft room is full of so many things but I did manage to buy something I didn't have a Tim Holtz rosette die fab is all I can say love it have taken a photo of rosettes to let you see them. You can make your own but why bother with all the hassle when this die does it for you till next time girls hope you all had a lovely Easter x

Easter Bonnet

so many layouts to finish so little time!!!

Had this layout in my craft room unfinished so am trying to get into the habit of finishing them of first before I move onto another new layout. This is another lovely kit i had from forgetmenot crafts in Belfast the paper line is echo park life is good and i love this paper!! The photo was taken when we were on holiday in the south of France last year and it is one of my favourite family photos.Hope you all like it let me know what you think!!! x

My monthly crop layout....

Can't believe we are at the start of another month! The only good thing is that I was at my monthly scrapbooking nite at Forgetmenot Papercrafts in Belfast. Love going to this and what a great bunch of friends I have made we laugh lots.. scrap a little... drink tea and of coarse enjoy the odd biscuit or two!!! So if you are in that area check it out. Well girls hope you like my layout Faith was in a bad mood when I took this picture so just had to scrap it don't think she will thank me in twenty years time!!! x

my girl.......

Have just finished this layout of Bethany in portglenone forest last May.She has grown so much since then and is turning into quite the young lady!!! Make-up and nail varnish, hair curlers the list could go on.I just need to add a little bit of journaling and it is finished but as usual my brown marker pen has disappeared!!! The paper I used was from my minds eye little boy blue and I have had it for quite a while but am pleased it went so well with this photograph.

These pictures were taken in 2007 and boy have my two girls grown up so much since then!!!

I am only getting round to scrapping these now. I enjoyed doing this page as I just love the BO bunny papers and am trying to scrap more and try and wade through my many boxes of photos.

christmas layout

Have at last had time to finish a layout!! My two girls are growing up so fast and you don't see that until you actually take a photo and see how much they have changed since last year.
